   These faces used to come from fonts.googleapis.com, which means every German
   visitor's IP address reached Google in the US before anything was asked. LG

   Fraunces ships as the variable font on purpose: assets/styles.css sets
   font-optical-sizing:auto, so the opsz axis is in use and a static instance
   would render differently. Both roman and italic are here — the gold hero
   headline (.goldtext) is italic Fraunces.

   All three families ship as variable fonts, one file per family and style, so
   the declared weight ranges are wider than the site uses: styles.css only ever
   asks for 400, 430, 500, 600 and 700. One variable file is still far smaller
   than the static instances it replaces — 4 files and 215 KB against the 11
   faces and 451 KB Google was serving.
